An interesting article in today's Telegraph....http://www.telegraph.co.uk/athletics/2016/11/03/society-must-not-waste-the-wisdom-of-coaches/
Thanks for sharing this Jon, and I very much agree. The job of a coach incorporates so many different roles, and business leaders in particular could learn so much from their expertise in getting the best out of their athletes (think Toni M), creating a winning team (Danny Kerry), etc, and generally helping their players to develop and improve (pretty much every coach you can think of). A while ago I wrote this on some common facets of leading, coaching and parenthood. Would be interesting to hear people's views.....http://www.sportandbeyond.co.uk/blog/2015/6/26/coaches-teachers-leaders-some-common-high-performing-threads
Thanks Catherine and agree 100% - coaching is life!!
I've read your blog before and it is well worth a read!
