Very rarely I get to watch TV let alone the news due to having such a busy life style, However a few days ago I took the time to catch up on the news and one of the top stories was that government are looking into a new funding formula, Many upset head teacher stating that if this is changed then schools will have to close.  If the proposed funding formula is put into place this will have a big impact on how schools will use there funding.

Will this mean cuts throughout schools?

    Teaching staff being made redundant.

Will this have an impact on sports coaches going into school teaching pe?

    Hi Emma,

With the doubling od the Primary PE and Sport Premium I think it's very unlikely that less coaches will be going into schools.

More funding should come to through the sugar levy such as the new facilities funding pot for Primary, Secondary and FE
