New to coaching and doing a BA Outdoor activity and leadership Degree.
I have an assignment that is looking at Leadership Theory / Programme Design / Learning theory and I wondered if there is anyone here who has an interest in their theory behind coaching and has any suggestions for theorys and models about the 3 catagories that are worth looking at?

It then goes on to talk about the importance of learning from mistakes, and in particular, growth mindset, and attaches a link to a useful video summary from an organisation called TrainUgly. This is something that we at Sport and Beyond also focus on in our 'attitude and mindset' workshops. I would also suggest another possible area of focus being behavioural profiling, and its impact on how you motivate and interact with your students. Lots of different routes you could take with this, but again its a big focus for us due to the impact on understanding both the way you operate (whether leader or coach, we subscribe to the view that 'Before you can be someone you need to know who you are') and then on the way your people/students operate. Hopefully this gives you some food for thought!
