I have developed a spreadsheet to monitor load using RPE V Mins, although the load value is a little arbitrary using the RPE it enables a unit value to be created. The sheet is designed specifically for 2 training session and 1 match per week. You will be able to look at injury relationships v acute and chronic load variances in training and competition.
If there is an appetite to test this type of monitoring at grass roots then happy to look at sharing this. I have attached a couple on images of the resource...
i am am using something similar to this with out judo athlete. We have a graph that shows chronic vs acute and also has TSB.
Next year ear one of my undergrads is looking a researching this as part of her final year project so there might be some collaboration we can do.
Just finished the new 7 day version of the load monitor tool. We have added a periodisation plan that is fully editable, rows columns etc. can all be amended or deleted. Also added a performance rating to evaluate load / volume / injury / performance relationships, there is a brief instruction manual with the download.
