Hi all and Happy New Year!

I`m a coach at a local rugby union club and we have an ex player who went out to Brazil a few years ago as a coach and development officer. He has approached me to see if we can accept any players from his club. We are not the type of club that would normally do this as we are totally amateur and would rather develop our own players, however we feel that it is a fantastic opportunity to not only help develop others who would not normally get the chance but it would potentially create a buzz around the club.

My question is, does anyone have any experience of working with overseas players? What are the pitfalls etc etc?

    Thanks!
